Procedures
At first meeting, Anne and the client will discuss the client's expectations for the portrait. Information may be shared concerning the subject's mannerisms, traits, gestures, and interests. Clothes, colors, background, size of canvas, and proposed location of finished portrait will also be considered. A photography session is scheduled at the client's convenience. Photos may cover a variety of poses and lighting, and quick sketches may be made at this time.

At a follow-up session, photographs are reviewed and the composition of the painting is thoroughly discussed. A 30% deposit fee is made at this time.

At various stages of the painting's progress, photos are provided for the client's review.

Upon completion, the painting is presented to client for final approval. Occasionally minor adjustments and finishing touches may be made at this point. Final payment is due upon delivery of the portrait.
